I'm jealous cos we had to learn the beneath. Which is just completely stupid.

Breve
Semi-Breve
Minim
Crotchet
Quaver
Semi Quaver
Demi Semi Quaver
Hemi Demi Semi Quaver

And back to topic - Yeah, get a dice tat. That looks cool
That's just uncomfortable... Now I have an actual reason not to move to the UK

This has been bothering me for since I saw it. Any help, @Gret79 ?

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

Your top end is out @ntaw : a breve is a double note.

So crotchet is a 1/4, minim 1/2, and semi-breve 1/1

In 4/4
A breve is 8 beats
A semi breve is 4 beats
A minim is 2 beats
A crotchet is 1 beat
A quaver is half
A semi quaver is a quarter

etc...
It's what 28 years of brass gets you

Never would have thought a double whole note existed, I thought that's what ties were for. Ah well, in lieu of me hijacking this thread here's a picture of someone who may have gone too far with their 40k tattoo:

Sweet mother of god.

About the music, I'm so glad I didn't chose it as a subject in school.

While I think it's kinda dumb, its also kinda badass.

The Website kept telling me that my profile was only 80% complete without creating a signature. Ain't no website going to tell me I was a lazy shit, no sir.

Not a choice I would make, but definitely a choice made giving no fucks about other's opinions. It's pretty amazing what you find typing in '40k tattoo' to Google, that was the third or fifth picture in

The eight-pointed star is much older than the Warhammer Universe. Maybe he was a Moorcock fan. Or a psychonaut.
