Default A shopping trolley and 60 seconds in a GW store

circa 2004
so i was sitting there on the couch watching TV, and a kids tv show had a competition where some kid won and he got 60 seconds in 'TOYS R US' with a shopping trolley. And everything in the trolley he got for free.

and i thought of this as i walked into games workshop this morning.

so, you have a trolley and 60 seconds, everything you put into the trolley is free. You are in a massive gamesworkshop with everything in giant aisles. Black library books, forgeworld packets, boxes of tanks, scenery, paints, brushes, gaming tables (however in this case the RoB table is mini sized but you get the full size if you get it) everything!!! (that gw sells)

what would you go for ?

me, i would sprint for the Empire stuff and just throw shit in the trolley then i would run towards the scenery and chuck in a couple of fantasy pieces, pick up a gaming table, and if i have enough time i would go for some ork or skaven stuff.

Ain't this for the tactics threads?

I would go for the big stuff, Stompas, Baneblades, Wraithknights etc. Then sell them on Ebay to finance more thoughtfull gains.

Good to be green

I'd get any Imperial guard. Imperial. and fantasy dwarf stuff, and thanks to the average size of a GW store. it would be quite easy xD

I'd grab everything for every army list for every army I've made when I was bored as well as their entire supply of glue, paints and brushes to paint them all.

Necrons W3 T0 L1

Death Korps W1 T0 L1

Dark Elves W0 T0 L0

so basicly a shopping trolly,s worth . which would fill up pretty quickly .

Id go for codexs ,rule books not thrown but placed , then battleforces and that's it
stacked properly I reckon you could fit a far few in a trolly ( and considering my GW shop is shoe box sized getting round aint a problem ) .
Sell on ebay , forums keep what I fancy sell the rest

I would run down to the Chaos section (Both marines and daemons), and do the following:

1) On the way there, I do my best to align the cart precisely half an arms length from the shelves.
2) Stick out my arm.
3) Run like a motherfucker and hope that all the boxed hit the cart.
4) at the end I would turn the cart around.
5) Repeat the process on the shelve either beneath or above, depending on what is there.
6) If I had time, run to the apocalypse department and grab a few battleforces.
7) Run to the finish line.

Forgeworld books I think for starters. Then probably a titan and a thunderhawk. Finally scenary and master series brushes.

A minute isn't a long time though.

Your toast has been burnt and no amount of scraping will get rid of the black bits.
