@Vaz , that's fucking awful. Nobody deserves heartbreak.

And it's almost worse when it happens and nobody is a shit, just good people feeling differently.

You have my sympathies for whatever they're worth.

My sympethies as well Vaz, honestly wish there was more I could offer than that.

And its certainly been a while since I've had a vent on here but lets go:
Pretty sure I'm about to be in the same boat as Vaz with my girlfriend, she's suddenly becoming very distant and forgetting our plans (and this is someone known for having a very good memory.)

So assuming this is the end, probably gonna be single again for Valentines day..

Feck,

Genuinely sorry to hear that Vaz,
that is a shitty series of events to happen (to both of you, to be fair)
I went through something similar (and yet completely different) a few years back whilst mid-move.
Is it over-over, in your head?.
What you have gone through would break up a lot of relationships by the sound of it.......

Fingers crossed you are wrong Darkreever..........

All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

My deepest condolences @Vaz . If I were in the neighbourhood I would have taken you out for a beer, to get your mind off of it.

Damn, sorry to hear about the heartbreak (and impending heartbreak).

Perhaps it doesn't feel like it now, and I apologize if this isn't the best thing to say, but at least it happened now before any legal documents were signed, before you uprooted your life, and before spending years together where it's obvious that things aren't working out, but you feel stuck.

Here's hoping for better days ahead.

Sorry to hear about the heartbreak guys. seems like this is always a morbid time of year.

A few years ago, my gf and I hit a bad leg of our relationship, and I mean BAD. I won't get into details but we were absolutely done, however, after we discovered the grass was not greener on the other side, we hashed it out and mended things. It wasn't easy but.... Good things can still happen

Had a student as to learn Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson on guitar.

Fuck my life.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

What, you don't shred like Eric Johnson?

They could have asked to learn "Where my fortune lies" by Cacophony. :p

@Kreuger I'm still trying to break this kid off Kirk Hammet, at least this is something not strictly in G major. This student specifically worships Metallica but hadn't even heard of Slayer or Pantera before starting lessons up with me...not that I can shred like any of the guitar players we're talking about. I've never been beaten by a rhythm riff and I can pull off some decent lead work, but I just don't care enough to dedicate the metronome time to get that level of mastery over mine digits. At least Eric Johnson's spurts of speed are more for flavour than to keep up with the tempo of the song...I don't think I've worked this hard since Classical Gas.

These kids have no idea how much teaching is responsible for a lot of my specific skill practices. Cliffs of Dover may not make my stupid punk band any better, but maybe as a result of manhandling my fingers into a new era of control I'll write some even more ridiculous riffs for it. Who knows?

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.
