Marcus Heitz has written a 4 book series called 'the dwarves'

maybe the gotrek and felix books are something for you as well?

I believe that black libraries time of legends series also extensively deals with dwarfs

Out of GW's Dwarfs trilogy, I read Thorpe's Grudgebearer. I liked it pretty much. Haven't touched Kyme's Dwarf books though.

Dwarves play a large part in Raymond Feist's Magician, and they are pretty bad ass in it.

And they're bland, poorly paced and the usual diluted Tolkien fare. Even as a sixteen-year old lad I could recognise a wasted week when I saw one. The amount of set-piece battles that were set up and never delivered upon was truly shocking.

OP, it depends if you simply crave Dwarven lore, or whether you would want to engage with something more innovative that pushes the status quo Tolkien created. If it's the former, then the likes of Marcus Heitz and Christopher Paolini apply. If it's the latter, then I'm afraid I can't help. I know certain European folklore treats Dwarves as a more Elf-like species - Spirits of the Earth.
