That he does. If he doesn't get a move on with the story though he's gonna do a Jordan and shuffle off this mortal coil before he gets it finished.

I've been meaning to read more of Sanderson's work since reading his WoT books. Nice to see a positive review.

Just started Starship Troopers after finishing the brilliant Worlda War Z. Thankfully it only bears a passing resemblance to the film.

Starship troopers is great book, though mostly political pamphlet of the author, where he express his idea of state organization and other things. Even if you don't share his opinions, it's an interesting read.

I do like movie also, in it's own way.

On topic, I'm reading third book now, Hero of the ages. I will reserve my opinion till I read it whole. Sanderson really has some good twists, but which are actually foreshadowed and make a lot of damn sense. Also laws on which things work in his universe are quite interesting. Still not my favourite author, but he can compare to, lets say, Scott Lynch at least.

I ve never gone past 4th book of WoT series, so I doubt I ll ever read Sanderson's books.

It does become a slog between books 6 and 10. Jordan appeared to paint himself into a corner with too many characters and sub plots getting out of control, but almost within a hundred pages of Sanderson taking over he sorts it all out and gets it back on track. Well worth the effort, especially now that the final book is out.

Reading Kimi no Iru Machi by Seo Kouji. It's a manga so that might put people off it but is really good and more should know about it as the plot might be a bit out there but there are worse. Just past the 110th chapter and wondering if Haruto and Yuzuki are getting back together or even meet again at all.

I'm on my way to the end of Endymion, by Dan Simmons. It's the third book in the Hyperion Cantos and I'm really enjoying it so far. It's really awesome.

Finished: Too Much Love Will Kill You (working title), an original fiction novel. Working on: Second draft of Too Much Love, and the first draft of A Winter's Tale (working title).

Yes Brian Cox has a brilliant way of explaining things in a non-mathematical way. Which is great because my math is not all that great. It has encouraged me to improve on my algebra though as I want to understand it from that view point.
