If you like that one, try the one preceding it, and the seven following it.

Finished: Too Much Love Will Kill You (working title), an original fiction novel. Working on: Second draft of Too Much Love, and the first draft of A Winter's Tale (working title).

There's an ACW one isn't there?

Ah. No, to answer the question, not really. The first is How Few Remain, set a few years after the ACW and revolves around the Second Mexican War. Then there's the Great War trilogy, then an interwar trilogy, followed by a you-guessed-it four book sequence.

How Few Remain could be what I was thinking of. If that's the one that involves time-travel and AK's....?

Dodger by Terry Pratchett. Who thought Dickensian London could be like that? And who thought Sweeney Todd would make an appearance?

Also, it's a rare kind of read. Normally fantasy stuff, Inheritance Cycle, HP, BL WHFB stuff, you get the sort.

No, that's Guns of the South, which to my knowledge has no sequels or prequels. How Few Remain is in a completely separate timeline.
