adam81 sorry to point this out but i think you need to drop one of the sternguard otherwise you chpater master or libby is gonna have a long slow walk up field? I know it'll give you 35 points to waste on some thing but maybe bulk out the scout squads just to use the points? Unless you change the rhino to a drop pod and put your a character in with the 10 man stern? bit of a suicide mission if you ask me.

maomolin Exchange the Razorback (with the 10-strong sternguard unit) for a Rhino. This unit then gains the flexibility to combat squad or stay together.

Scouts with heavy weapons shouldn't need meltabombs. I am not a fan of telion, but acknowledge others like him.

With those changes, consider typhoons (HB/TML - NO MM) and changing one (only one) vindicator to AC turret/ Las sponsons predator.

Grinnsira I dont have my book at work so I'm not sure if scouts can take a rhino. If they can, drop the sternguard down and get a rhino with the scouts to allow your sterns to ride in it as a large squad or combat squad them.

5 stern, pedro
5 stern, lib
10 stern, scout rhino, razorback. Combat squad 5 and 5 or a group of 10 in rhino and go twin las as fire support back with the scouts.

Lord Pestilice I'm temped to tell you to drop something to get some Typhoon Launchers on at least 2 of your Speeders. I find the versatility of having 2 Frag or Krak each turn invaluable. Plus it has longer range than the vindicators so it gives you the ability to reach out and touch your opponent while the vindis move into threat range. The opponent might ignore your speeders at first seeing the vindis as a bigger threat until you start launching multiple missles and destroying transports or decimating troop formations. By turn 2 he is now forced to keep going after the vindicators (as they are likely to be in range to nuke something in the next firing phase) or the speeders since they are fast, mobile and thus able to get flank or rear shots.
So far I have only been fielding 1 speeder with a MM and Typhoon Launcher. It is generally ignored at first because, 1) it is sitting behind cover launching 2 missles or 2) the opponent is more concerned about my advancing razorbacks and vindicator. Food for thought....

3 Vindicators seems to be an overkill and due to lack of long range AT i would advise the Predator Las sponsons Autocanon for 5 more points

The first sternguard gets combat squaded. Pedro goes with first half in razorback while sergeant goes with second half. Librarian goes with the other 5-man sternguard squad in razorback. That way each squad has a PF in the mix.

Vindi's push for the throat with razorbacks in tow. Speeders hopefully light up some AV when they arrive. Scouts guard rear. The loose sternguard can either stay back as well to help guard rear or footslog forward behind the armoured spearhead and can hunker down at mid-field (camp midfield objective) and start shooting infantry that want to assault the tanks.

Normally, I take TLLC for the razorbacks but thinking I'm gonna give the las/plas a go (counts as for a few tries) and convert up 3-4 for the ones I have if they do well.

Had 5 points spare so gave the scout sergeant a MB to help with any AV/LiteMech that might show up in the rear.

Something else I could also do is kit out the footslogging sternguard with Combi-Flamer x3, Heavy Flamer x2, Lightning Claw, Melta Bomb so they are a bit more counter-assaulty-like for going after stuff that wants to get close to the tanks. Just an idea hehe.

Oh well, thoughts and C&C appreciated.

nice thing is u have 5 scoring units 3 mobile 2 lets say static
Land speeders are fun to use on turn one u can block his armou by puting LS in front of his tank going flat out could be useful and give vindis time to advance well i think that is it just my 2 cents
