Basically it boils down to two things:
1) When a pact is made with the Haemonculi coven, a permanent portion of the Eldar's soul is left with the Haemonculi.
2) If the Eldar's will is strong enough some of their spirit can linger in bodily remains.
The regeneration process is based around pain. The Dark Eldar are rejuvenated by witnessing agony and pain. They literally drink in the dark energy that is present in Commorragh and the Hamonculi labs in particular. If saturated with enough of it it can heal any wound.

|VanitusMalus||they also say in the latest WD that a soul of a DE lingers in the body for a little while before it's consumed. Enough time for an Archon to take his best warriors back to a Haemonculus so they can be "resurrected"|

How can Dark eldar be reborn?
Considering that the fluff states that the dark eldars souls would be consumed by slaanesh when they die, how is it possible to bring them back from death at all since they have already been 'eaten'. I doubt that she who thirsts would just give up a consumed soul without a fight.
