shaantitus The heavy weapon team is a fantastic option. Particularly for players who don't go for the chaos mutation thing(alpha legion in particular) with a two man team though it should be possible to have two terminators(for the save) one with a heavy combimelta/plasma and the other with a lascannon and powerfist with an underslung flamer. That would cover all the weapon options if you needed to and look fantastic. Problem is fitting it all on a 40mm base. With the ig we sometimes do the reverse and turn the heavy weapon teams into gun toting ogryns.

The t-sons terminator sorcerer idea is an excellent concept. If you can find a way to model some kind of spell effect it would be magnificent.

Azwraith you could do something similar but like have instead of just one heavy weapon and a pfist dude

have the guy carrying a weapon in each hand that is also like combi so one arm is like a las and melta and the other is a plas+rocket or w/e and give the guy like chaos'y like arms that he uses as supports o rsomething

cose im not 100% sure but oblits have like multiple heavy weapons yeah?

(or could do like a gatling type gun thats mounted on a frame and each barrel of the gatling gun is a melta/plas/las/rocket/bolter etc or something of that sort)

That just might be the ticket. I might mess a little with the concept, but I really like that.

Here we go...something like these:

Varakir Have you thought about using warjacks?

I know they aren't GW models, so may not be an option - but some of the cryx jacks have a nice tzeentchy feel to them.

Rixnor A friend of mine did oblits as terminator sorcerers. Just take any terminator and add a staff and some dynamic pointing poses. Call them warcasters or battle mages. Fluff wise all thousand sons that had psychic power or potential didn't change to animated suites of armor. These are just the terminators that didn't change, every "weapon" they use is just another spell. Plus its nice to see some thousand sons terminators on the field.

They look a little like tree-men

They look like a great replacement for flamers but not obliterators.
