genesis108 I didnt take any pictures while doing it. Sorry. I've actually since taken the blade back off and re-used my bearer for my Honour Guard.

Power Halberd

Standard Bearer pole
Plastic Power Sword
Super Glue

Step 1.
Cut the blade off the Power Sword

Step 2.
File the cut edge smooth and file in the slight indentation on one side of the blade(Back side if using an older edition single edged blade) so the blade fits flush ontop of the banner pole

Step 3.
Glue the blade in place ontop of the pole.

All done. You can use small bits of wire or guitar string for power cords for the weapon for added detail.

Simple but effective conversion if you have a Standard Bearer that you aren't or don't want to use as a Standard Bearer(I had an old metal Blood Angels Standard Bearer that no longer has a place in my new army), so I wanted to find a use for him, and viola...he's now got a very long and noticable power halbred.
