40rending the entry is under dantes initial description and codex description

to field the chapter banner you need to have dante in the army at 200pts and then you can upgrade one standard bearer to a company standard for 15pts extra

in other words no dante no chapter standard

hope that helps

Blood Angel Honor Guard

I was piecing together my honor yesterday and I noticed they don't have anything about taking a Chapter Banner in the New Blood Angels Codex? Sure, I can take a Standard Bearer with a Company Banner, but am I no longer able to take a Chapter Banner?

I really would love to take one if I could, but I'd hate to ask for a gentleman's agreement between my friends just to take it. I'd rather take it because the rules say I can have it. Something about an assault heavy honor guard being able to counter-attack just screams sexy to me.
