Firefly, not fire flie, and it came in 1944, there were no Tigers left to fight at that point, and those left were usually Tiger aces who would know to target the firefly first, or hit and run to avoid being shot at, or King Tigers, which the 17pounder would struggle to penetrate even at 500meters

plus there were only 2000 Fireflys

again say that to those who had to fight them before they could damage them

and were not talking about Tigers, were Talking about King Tigers, Royal Tigers, Konigstigers, call them what you will, its a different kettle of fish

so "Lulz"......whatever that means

arhain @ Ste: i could but i want to convert a landraider

@ Inquisitor Varrius: yer it would be a 1/36 chance, but knowing my luck...
My way of perception is that it is still a very high chance it would become broken

I would just like to point out, that this is not the King tiger of world war 2 but a fictional tank loosely based on the king tiger, so it does not need to have the same weakness and strengths.

Inquisitor Varrius Confusion:
Quote:
every time this vehicle finishes its move roll a dice, on a 1, reroll if you get another 1, it is immobilized
Does this mean it takes two 1's to be immobilized? That would be a 1/36 chance, it'll only stall every 6th game or so.

Ste Why not just use a BB and call it the king tiger?

arhain Heavy Support

King Tiger.....260 Points per Model

Front: 14
Side: 13
Rear: 13
BS: 4

Unit Type:
Vehicle (tank)

Wargear:
Twin-linked heavy bolters
Searchlight
Smoke launchers
Extra armour
Tiger Cannon

Special Rules:
Lumbering Behemoth
Tank ace (bs4)
Crack Shot
Extremely unreliable
Hard to knock out

Hard to knock out:
This vehicle is so well armored and hard to destroy that if it suffers any penetrating or glancing hit it can roll a d6 and on a 5+ it shakes off the damage like it never happened

Extremely unreliable:
every time this vehicle finishes its move roll a dice, on a 1, reroll if you get another 1, it is immobilized

Tiger cannon:
120" S9 ap3 Ordnance 1 Large Blast

---------------------------------------------------

Just had a game with a proxy model, i rolled really bad for its main gun (all it managed was immoblising a dreadnought)
then a second dreadnought arrived taking 2 turns to kill me, the hard to knock out rule helped alot.

Taggerung Well to be accurate then you should also add in (In addition to extremely unreliable rule because its so true) Hard to knock out...

This vehicle is so well armored and hard to destroy that if it suffers any penetrating or glancing hit it can roll a d6 and on a 5+ it shakes off the damage like it never happened.

FuzzyRabbit Stella Cadente is right on with everything said about the king tiger. In addition to everything that has been done, dropping the rear AV is a must and possibly the sides. The allies killed german tanks but flanking and getting shots at the rear armour. Good idea though
