If you want to take some piccies jpunk that would be brilliant mate.
Sorry all that this has taken a bit of a back seat, my exams aren't over yet... and most of the last 2 weeks Ive been busy with assignments. But I am popping in when I've got a little free time (oh, the hard life of a student, yadda yadda...)

|jpunk||Hey Orc, you still looking for ideas here? Because I was thinking about sprue (Yes, my exams are over and I now turn my attentions to uses for waste plastic. It's like I have no life or something...) and I have an idea for some barricades. If they are still needed I'll take some pics, but if not, well, I won't bother.|

i made a hill by getting some polystyrene insulation sheets about 0.75 inches thick(from wilkes if i remebers correcly). getting 2 saucepan lids, 1 about double the size of the other, place each one near the edge (to minimize waste) and draw around them using a marker. cut out, and then glue together in whatever way you like. I then took a cheap knife, heated up on a gas cooker ring, then carefully tilted it at a 45 degree angle and went round the edge giving it a slope
To paint i then covered in PVA, waitied to dry then spraypainted green.

We're kinda used to (most of) them not having taste.
Soggy bags of pastry containing gristle and gravy. Mmmm! With a cold beer.
