Khorne's Fist As the article says, the US has been trying to perfect it for years. Can someone else do it in two? I know they're not at a standing start, but considering so far, because of the power required, the US has only been able to mount them on warships or adapted 747s, until they come up with a much smaller, more potent power source than any existing today, we are many many decades away from seeing laser weapons deployed anywhere near the front line.
