Yet when I said I was a Christian but that I don't particularly agree with the church or the bible (as you said a book written by many people, so what makes their opinion more holy than mine) you took issue with me.

So, are you ok with an individuals faith or not?
Sure. Just because I disagree with your beliefs doesn't mean I'm opposed to you having them.

Not really true, arguably the war had been a smoldering ember for quite a dew decades, the kick off might have been quite short after the assaination of Franz ferdinand but it was always gonna happen.

scscofield Not really, this country is not close to breaking and cost of living is nothing compared to other countries. You are making mountains out of mole hills. The US is doing fine, not as pampered as it was but no where close to falling apart. This is not the first 'economic crisis' they happen every decade. Then people learn to balance their checkbooks again it quiets down again.

I really hate to break it to you but something is going to give. Right now the US is wound past the breaking point, with people terrified of terrorists and constantly being pressured by the cost of living, it's pretty much a perfect setup for a revolution.

I dread to think what would happen in the event of another major war.

Chaplain-Grimaldus So an individuals faith is ok but you take issue with organised groups.

Yet when I said I was a Christian but that I don't particularly agree with the church or the bible (as you said a book written by many people, so what makes their opinion more holy than mine) you took issue with me.

So, are you ok with an individuals faith or not?

There's noting wrong with religion. People tend to put their own ideas into things which makes it difficult for the rest of us.
