sounds interesting I'll be keeping my eyes peeled on that, on the hobbhy articles part, I can see GW trying to charge for it or ask monehy for exclusive content. |

Simple it shall be a pay to view website. It makes sense after all they removed all content that told you about the hobby made you pay for a flyer that they give out at wal-mart for free. So the next logical step is to view a model you pay x amount or by month/year sub. Or even better in order to excess the website you need to enter a valid credit card. It will be like a 1960's peep show. They will show you all but the goodies and make you pay for that. |

Adramalech | Honestly, if your life is made so crappy by the fact that GW prices are worse in Australia, why not move to Florida or Arizona here in the US? It'd be about the same climate... |

neilbatte | Hopefully it will be easier to navigate than the crap we have now and more hobby content could only be a good thing but I wont hold my breath. |

Personally I can't see hobby articles making a return to GW site unless it's in a pay to view section. |

GW Launching New Site in 2014 From Faeit212: Quote:
via an anonymous source on Faeit 212
New GW-Site! Games Workshop will launch a new Internet-Site in April 2014. The new Site will bring back Hobby content and other stuff. The Online shop will include Black Library Products and at the end of the year 2014 Forgeworld. The success of Horus Heresy moved GW to this. EDIT: From the comments section: Quote:
This is only partially rumor, the new site itself was revealed in their most recent share holder statement, new online store (and except for WD daily, that's all the site really is) coming 2014 :D
EDIT: Finally located the shareholder statement and the information: http://investor.games-workshop.com/w...ement-2013.pdf "Our online shop is doing well. Sales are up to £14.4 million from £13.1 million. During the year we built a new one and will be testing it over the coming year. It is planned to be fully operational in April 2014. The online world is in constant flux. New things become possible, new ways of behaving become the norm, legislation requires extra safeguards, and so on. We need to continually invest and change to ensure it remains a pleasant shopping experience for our customers." |
