Thats a good idea actually. I might spray paint it black first, dry brush grey and then do the spritz idea.

The Son of Horus Alternatively, since you said you had snow based models... you could just spritz parts of the hill with a spray adhesive and put some snow scatter on it. Probably a lot less work than stripping the thing.

VanAlberict i really think rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) should take it off if its pva would have to soak but it should
