|DreadLordRedAxe||I have never really had an issue with him a hammerhead and 2 units of 3 broadsides seem to make short work of anything that hard to kill. Just use the submunition to kill off most of his bodyguard then rail gun him in the face FnP doesnt work for T5 or less marines from railguns.|

If he is actually breaking units, and used in such a way that he can't be avioded then I would feed him a cheap unit so 75% of your army can focus fire on him for 1-2 turns straight after he wipes the unit in his turn. I mean really death star units greatest weakness this edition is shooting.
After all relying on CC can rapidly go down hill. Imagine if he tries to charge and fails. You will get to overwatch, then shoot him in the following turn. Now imagine if there was 2-3 units close enough to also fire on him. My marines use this approach all the time, and to date I have used it to kill far scarier units then corbulo. Hell if you just used gaurdians you could still probably take him and his unit down, just space yourself 6 inches apart and level 100 or so shots against him, sure he will kill one of your units, but if used right that is all he will ever do.

|the_barwn||Surely you just take karandas & challange him in combat & them laugh as you rip his stupid face off?|

Fire Dragons are really not the answer to Corbulo. To get a wound on him you'll need twice as many Fire Dragons as he has body guards. So about 10 Fire Dragons, send them chasing a drop pod means they're out of position and almost certainly dead in response. If Corb is in a unit of 10 then you'll kill some then lose the whole unit of Dragons to the counter charge.
He is tough but his unit are just Marines, deal with them like you would any unit of Marines and ignore him specifically. If you can't deal with a unit of Marines with FnP then Blood Angels have some bad news for you.
You can try things like Fire Prisms (Dual Prisms can be good for the S6 AP3 blast), D-Cannon Support Weapon batteries, Harlequins, Dark Reapers etc if you want to kill them. Or take Eldrad Ulthran and Hallucinate them so they just stand around being durpy and not doing anything.

|scscofield||If he is dropping in castle up, let him drop, put a cheap unit of guardians or something strung around your army. He drops turn one, he might shoot one unit off the board. You then will have everything in your army right there to shoot him off the board.|

i tried ignoring him a few times, but he seems to just cause too many problems
i had mech eldar but find they don't really work in this edition :/
the avatar and wraithlord idea could actually work. That should stomp the unit pretty well when he drops in.
I play him in a day or so. I'm gonna try out a few lists using all your suggestions. THANKS FOR THE HELP.
was really stuck for ideas

If you really want to flatten him an Avatar & 3 wraithlords sat in reserve should deal with hiim quickly.
Alternatively start a deamon army and turn him into a spawn, all it takes is one failed toughness roll and he's lost all those rules that make him near unkillable. And they can ally with Tau
