Model Soldier Ah, that's the original pictures :D
I noticed as well the images had vanished so I reposted the old ones.

The models are totally stripped now, new images coming soon over the next couple weeks as soon as I can get some paint lol! All mine has dried up.

Battman Wow thats an old post to be resurrected, though in the other hand looks to be a good job here. Well done always like to see some ork bloodbowl.

Pitty it seems that the other images are lost to the warp. Wouls have liked to see the transition.

Model Soldier Recently dug out my Orcs and stripped them using the Dettol technique... and decided to get back on Heresy for a bit...

These were how I had them before, but they're totally stripped now (Dettol is a miracle), hopefully can use them as a stepping stone to get back into painting again. I haven't made anything for about 4 years.

Will update as I get on...

davespil I know the NFL isn't big in the UK but you should consider painting the red symbols black and silver. They're called the Orcland Raiders as I believe. A play on the Oakland Raiders of the NFL whose colors are Black and Silver. Also, get an old decriepted model and he can be the owner.

Check out some of their fans: http://www.theoffside.com/files/2010...black-hole.jpg

Model Soldier Speaking of rust effect. Just a quick pic of my rusty drum ;)

Using Cheapo Leather Brown, Fiery Orange and Mythril Silver.
Oil spill effect is pva glue mixed with brown and black and painted on in layers.

arumichic Hahaha! Guess that would too, just easier since Scorched Metal's already metallic. And I don't know what people have, so i was just trying to be helpful. But I'll keep that in mind the next time I run out of SM.

Model Soldier Watered down 1/3 Cheapo Leather Brown and 2/3 Fiery Orange with just the tiniest touch of the original metal (silver, gold etc) mixed in works well too.

arumichic No problem. I actually found that about a 1:1.5~2 mix of Reaper Minature's Scorched Metal : Blazing orange mix watered down or just stippled makes for a really good rust.
