crabpuff Competitiveness or not, nothing wrong with telling him how to improve. That's the great thing about advice, you do not have to take it.

TheKingElessar Sure, I think I said so in my initial post, that my advice can only come for increased competitiveness, if that's uninteresting then what does he want advice even for?
02-02-12 04:19 PM
groundhogg He never mentioned he was greatly concerned about being competitive, TKE.

TheKingElessar One flaw I forget if I mentioned and CBA checking, is that that costs two Force Org slots to do the job of one.

This inefficiency limits your options yet further, and leads to wasted points.

buckythefly I disagree with Elessar, Burnas are hella useful, probably not AS useful as Lootas but put 10 in a Battlewagon, and you can disintegrate marine squads in a single shooting phase. (decent armor vs 99 hits? eh) Coupled with a deffrolla you can even pop rhinos or tanks and then torch the guys inside.

I dunno how an all burna fighting force would work, but if you take a bunch of Power Klaws as well, you should be able to kill at least a few tanks. Eldar will still give you trouble though.

EDIT: My entire post has been said already...My bad.

crabpuff Running 15 Burnas in a wagon, they can act as a horde killer or possibly an elite killer with I4 Power weapons on the charge. Roll 12 hop out flame away with five or so then charge the rest in with 10 power weapons left over.

Wolfbane I always run an open top battlewagon loaded with burnas and a big mek with KFF. I love the combo. Your army would be perfect for taking on other horde armies.

Trihnicus Big Meks can take Burnas.... Kommandos can take Burnas.... Mega Nobz can take Kombi-Skorchas. I love the idea

crabpuff Maybe some battlewagons with deff rollas. HQ:
warboss w/ combi -scorcha/shoota,pk-bosspole heavy armor 100
15 burnas 225 possibly add 3x KMB mekboys for some anti tank/terminators
15 burnas 225
Fast Attack:
3 warbuggies- scorchas w/redpaint,a.p, 165
3 warbuggies scorchas w/redpaint,a.p, 165
19 boyz - Nob w PK
15 Grotz - Rutherd
15 Grotz - Rutherd
Heavy Supt:
1 Battlewagon - deffrolla, 2x big shootas 120
1 Battlewagon - deffrolla, 2x big shootas 120
1 Battlewagon - deffrolla, 2x big shootas 120
The two burna squads go in two BWs and the other boyz squad goes in the last BW, the Warboos can go with the boys or burnas. I woul stick him with the Burnas to spread Anti tank capabilities. The Grots sit on home objectives. It doesn't have as much fire as you had, but gives you a good amount, protection to get there and some antitank/infantry in the deff rollas.
You can also switch the boss out for a Big Mek with KFF and Burna for 105, just take 5pts from some where else.

cpt.Octavian i would replace one deff dread and some of the skorchas for 2 looted wagons with skorchas
the burnas could pile into the looted wagons be protected and the tank could still burn stuff moriouce i would not want to face this in cities of death.
