Ebay is best for a bargin just got a bnib ork wierdboy for £7 inc postage. After a comparison Gifts for Geeks is cheapest, Zagstruck and box lootas/burnas £25.93 in Maelstrom £27 both inc postage, not much saving but rather the pound in my pocket. |

http://www.triplehelixwargames.co.uk...ts.php?subId=3 From my personal experiences these guys have been excellent, as long as you can stomach a week's wait or so for delivery you can end up saving a considerable amount. They also stock like-for-like products like Army Painter and P3 Paints which can be harder to get a hold of in the UK Highstreet. My recent purchase came to £130 for a whole lot of Paint Brushes, Dark Angels and a couple of the "5 Man" boxsets of Tyranids and "3 Man" Chaos Marine boxsets. Saved about £50 overall. £28 for the hard back rulebook was worth it over and over. |

ebay is definitely best. 31 skinks were delivered to my door in 20 minutes for $25.00 CAD. It probably had something to do with him living in the exact same city as me. Kijiji is great too, but their supply isnt as broad and you will have a better chance finding what you want on ebay. |

Ok, here is a bit of an odd one for you all. If you are based in australia anything in the uk is good to buy from at the moment. Particularly Maelstrom games who do free shipping world wide. The price difference between aus gw prices and maelstrom games is about half price or a little more. The thing is aus prices are fixed and do not change with the exchange rate to the pound. I have had good success with ebay also. A considerable portion of my army is ebay purchases including my most recent effort. 4 chimeras at $17 each. Obviously given recent assholish behaviour by gw the first part of my post is now irrelevant. Ebay however still works. |

Creon | My advice. Buy at Friendly Local Game Store. They have spots to play in, and you need to support them so they continue to have spots to play in. My FLGS does 10% off, most non-GW locales will do the same. |

Sethis | My advice would be to also communicate with your local gaming group, whoever it is. If you have a club that meets at a specific venue, consider having a "Have/Want" poster on the wall somewhere. That guy you see every week but don't really talk to often might just have an army sitting around gathering dust that you want to start collecting. Likewise, if you send the word out that you want to sell something then you might get an offer from someone you know - saves the hassle of Ebaying it. |

I've had mixed success with eBay, but overall it's been good. I have bought from B&K a couple times, always been perfectly happy wit the transaction. I also have bought from Gifts for Geeks several times, though their delivery times aren't the best...apparently due to stocking issues every time I buy stuff. ![]() |

Creon | in the US those are Flea Markets. But, the best bet is a FLGS, after all, if you don't buy from them, they close. And then where do you game? |

I don't know if you guys in the US have such a thing, but in the UK we have Car boot sales (second hand market in a huge field) where people just sell all their old stuff. Managed to pick this lot up in a couple of toolboxes, themselves worth more than I paid for the whole lot. : 12 Khrone berserkers 33 chaos space marines 4 chaos space marine bikes 1 demon prince 5 metal chaos space marine terminators 5 plastic chaos space marine terminators 1 abbadon the despoiler 13 plastic space marines 5 metal black templar sword brethren 1 metal black templar chapter master 1 metal apothecary 1 metal banner barer 1 random metal space marine with bolter and auspex 2x metal techmarines (one with full servo harness) 3x metal neophytes/scouts 2x plastic dreadnought 1x forgeworld black templar dreadnought 1x drill combat arm for dreadnought (forgeworld) 1x Mk1 whirlwind 1x necron codex 1x necron monolith 10x necron warriors 3x scarab swarms 4x flayed ones 1x res orb lord (from huge boxset from ages ago) 1x wraith All in all worth over £600, awesome deal.
