Maybe Primarchs are just that powerful... even diluted, the smallest percentage of their blood is potent.

Or maybe it's just Sanguinius, cuz he's weird like that. Props to the Imperium (and Space Marines especially) for honoring tradition, though.

Given that the Black Rage continues to affect the Blood Angels, I'd say that isn't an issue.

But that's just a guess on my part.

Baron Spikey Undoubtedly but when the Primarch is dead it's really the only way to keep his living blood around.

MidnightSun Nah, that'd be like feeding the five thousand but instead of a hungry crowd you've got armoured warrior vampires.

Baron Spikey Because all of Sanguinius blood was injected into the Sanguinary Priests- the contents of the Red Grail is the blood the Sanguinary Priests all of who have a small portion of their Primarch's blood in their system.

Blood angel's blood

Ok I was reading the BE omnibus and it says that every initiat must take a sip from the red grail that holds Sanguinius's blood and the priests are injected with a portion of it...
My question is how has the red grail not ran dry yet
