Scypher Kroot make an excellent kill team. Cheap, melee units that can also be fair @ range, with a shaper leading it all. Your looking at 17 Kroot, 1 Kroot Shaper w/ Pulse Rifle.

Blind Yeah thats true, the drones would be used because tau dont have fodder really. it works either way i suppose

Cyklown Well, yes and no. Think of them as extra gear to kit out the squad with, y'know?
It's ablative shielding and firepower rolled into one!

Blind For guard patrols drones seems like its what you would see, for kill teams idk it could go either way, the drones are newbie Tau equivalent and one thinks a kill team should be of the best they have to offer. atleast fluff wise I guess

BHound1981 Drones, drones, and more drones. Why send a person when you've got perfectly good pieces of technology to do it for you?

Fumble Tumble maybe... maybe i might

piemaster Thing is if you go for three different units you're breaking three mutable rules. I'd scrap the stealth suits. They're fine on their own but what's the point of having half of your unit with a stealth field? That's like having some warp spiders with some guardians or something.
Mind you, a diverse team always looks good. Maybe you could say that every model has a stealth field if you can figure a fair way of doing it (like +15 points per model or something). Kill team is meant to be fun so go for it.

The Hanged Man Aslong as it fits the points total.

Fumble Tumble well the main choice seems to be stealth suits,

so what about 3 stealthsuits, leading 2 pathfinders and 4 fire warriors, plus maybe a few upgrades
