gwmaniac Hey, Welcome to Heresy! I've always wanted to get some Death Korps, but I'm a poor kid, so I won't be getting forge world for a while. But I may suggest for Death Korps paints maybe using the Flames of War paints, as most armies in Flames of War are desert/trench uniform colored, but perhaps just use Khemri Brown as the basecoat and then bleached bone as highlights. Just a quick brainstorm, hope it helps, cuz I haven't had any experience with painting trench/desert uniforms. Enjoy your stay and hobby!

jlunio Welcome to the boards. Where you plan on ETSing soon?

Don't feel bad even us contractors have a crap load of down time to paint models, now the problem I've run across is brushes and paints for my SM army. Good luck mate and don't let it stop raining.

pchandler43 Yeah we're using m270a1's

Figured I should work on an army out here since well...I have nothing to do. The MWR here is crap and I've read my fill in books. ETSing when I get back though so that'll be it for me.

First army is going to be Cadian, have yet to play a game and cadians seem to be appropriate. I'd like a DKOK ary eventually but their expensive compared to Cadian

Sweet another artilleryman! Although my unit still uses the old M198s. We're the last unit of the Marine Corps to have them in working order.

comrade Welcome to the Forums.

I use GW paints so I can't offer much advice.

But working on your Army while in Iraq sounds like a good Idea...

Gonna have to think about that, I might be going out there in about 6-8 months

Djinn24 Cool, I just finished my second tour over there (was one of the lucky bastard who did 15 months). You using this time to work on your Army? I wish I had lol.
