- human scenes without robots are 5% of the movie or less - every transformer gets an actual personality - the 'comic relief' is not annoying little robots that make silly noises or massive racial stereotypes - we don't need 5 different sources for comic relief - you can tell the decepticons apart from each other - when robots are fighting, zoom the camera out so we can see what the fuck is happening - 90-100 minutes is fine, don't flesh it out to over 2 hours with slow-mo scenes, explosions and car chases - Grimlock must be awesome - The original version of The Touch gets played during an epic montage of ass-kickery I seriously hope they have learn't something from number 3, but based on the transition from the second film to the third I doubt it. |

Deus Mortis | A part of me goes "I would have loved to see this when I was a kid as it had two of my favorite things in it, dinosaurs and transformers, but am I too old to enjoy it now?" Then I remember that I am nearly 20 and still paint and play with plastic men, something I also did when I was a kid. Then I stop asking myself such stupid questions and decide I will see it! |

Overall, I'll go and see this at the cinema and I'll most likely enjoy it ![]() I just switch off the part of my head that wants to see transformers and just watch it for the 'not-transformer' transforming robots. Seriously, these films have so little to do with the transformers they could've been about the gobots. Only Peter Cullen remains... |

"Mad" Larkin | I am not completely happy with all Bay did with our beloved Transformers, but i enjoy this and try not to think about how it would have been better. 20 years ago the films were unthinkable to make, so i just lean back, turn of my adult brain and turn the switch to 12-year-old-self. |

But childhood dreams brought by Michael Bay aren't the dreams you remember... There are pics of the dinobots online - it doesn't look like they have either a brontosaur or a stegosaur ![]() Still, I'm half pleased my favourite dinobots aren't going to be in this... I'm not enthusiatic about the dinobots being in this. When this was his previous stance. Michael Bay was quoted in the post as saying this about the possible introduction of the Dinobots for Transformers 3: "They've never been discussed [for inclusion]" stated Bay. "I don't like them. Actually, I hate them." |
