Default Let the craziness commence

Hi everyone, I'm NoPoet

I am currently working on a variety of 40K fiction including a novel, so remember to check the bargain bins in low-rent bookstores five years from now! I'm also working on a 40K/Horus Heresy prequel series called 20K. To be fair though, I may simply re-write this as original sci-fi and try to sell it, so who knows if it will ever grace the forums.

At the moment I'm embarrassing myself with more Marneus Calgar's Barmy Army stories. These are silly and immature Christmas-themed stories intended as a middle finger to the depressing, politically correct world we live in, and as an antidote to bolter porn. So hopefully people will enjoy these and, who knows, maybe even crack a smile or two!

I also intend to read and review the fiction of other authors here and hope people will do the same for me.

See you out there!

The sledge looked sized for one of Santa's elves. It was made of shiny red plastic. There were no engines or weapons.
"Perfect?" Calgar snorted. "You couldn't fit Kevin McCallister in that! How are four of us going to get in?"
"You didn't give me enough points to buy anything proper. I had to get what I could afford."
"You fething wally, it isn't even blue." Calgar inspected the tag which was still attached. "Fun for children aged two to six."
"Milo does have a point, my Lord," said Dick. "When I suggested that we're meant to be the most balanced Chapter and should allocate our spending for all contingencies, you said and I quote 'If I want to hear the raving of a leftist commie, I'll watch BBC News'."

Thank you mate. Yeah I haven't been an active member in forever.

Since it appears that the site has regenerated into a new incarnation, I thought I'd better start over too. It's nice to be back!
