Well, I would say $3 was one of the best 'Metal' albums of it's time, I've had a chance to listen through "Gold Cobra" and here's my main thought.

When GC was first announced ages ago, we were told it would be on par with $3, what we actually have is something nearer Significant/Choclate: Over all not bad, But unfortunately not good, Significant was the start of the slippery downhill slope, were Durst got a bit big-headed, This album (And also that God-awful Video for the title track) seem to further prove the point, that Durst, is a moron.

As I've said in the past with Significant/Hotdog, Ditch the vocals, and there's a pretty good album there.

Side note: Results was shite, Unquestionable truth was... Intresting, especially as its a sessions album.

Maybe I'm just not 'Down with the Kids anymore'. I watched the 'Metal' music station on TV, my only thought was "What the fuck is this faggotry?"

Have to agree most of the metal is going down hill faster than you can dreigo can make it happen, But Gold Cobra I felt is good album so far, sure it lacks that lyrical content, but when you listen to bizkit you really can't listen to it for that its more about the big picture.

The thing that gets me about durst is in many different songs he has shown that he can right great lyrics and can trully put his thoughts and emotions into it, but he just can't let that damn hip hop side of go. LB is one of those bands like Holywood Undead they just can't decide what style of music they are and constantly struggle with it, but this can be a good thing as well, because if a band sticks to one genre and one genre only they grow stale and run out of ideas. Then everythingyou wind up writing is the same $h!t different toilet.
