Well, I would say $3 was one of the best 'Metal' albums of it's time, I've had a chance to listen through "Gold Cobra" and here's my main thought.
When GC was first announced ages ago, we were told it would be on par with $3, what we actually have is something nearer Significant/Choclate: Over all not bad, But unfortunately not good, Significant was the start of the slippery downhill slope, were Durst got a bit big-headed, This album (And also that God-awful Video for the title track) seem to further prove the point, that Durst, is a moron.
As I've said in the past with Significant/Hotdog, Ditch the vocals, and there's a pretty good album there.
Side note: Results was shite, Unquestionable truth was... Intresting, especially as its a sessions album.
Maybe I'm just not 'Down with the Kids anymore'. I watched the 'Metal' music station on TV, my only thought was "What the fuck is this faggotry?"
