What was the last album you heard? After Today's Empires comes: Potemkin City Limits, Supporting Caste (AMAZING), and Failed States. Easily my favourite band ever. Much love for those dudes.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

I think probably less talk is the last full album I had, though i had some stuff from a later album on a FWC sampler.

I'll take your recommendation for supporting caste and dive in with that

They got a new bass player after Less Talk, John K. went on to form the Weakerthans while Propafandhi released Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes. A lot more technical playing Less Talk on.

You enjoy Supporting Caste, if my headphones weren't broken I would be listening to it right now!

Yes, Infected Mushroom are pretty ace. I like how they started off as a Psychedelic Trance duo, but have changed styles with each album. Keeps it fresh.

And yes, nice to see Within Temptation get a lot of love...Also good to see the Dead Kennedys and Exploited get a mention! Brings back (hazy) memories...

Hard to say what my top 5 are, my tastes constantly seem to change month to month. But this week I have been listening too:

Tristania - Beyond the Veil
Bob Dylan - Another Self-Portrait
. Love this album because it's a lot of really old folk songs, not keen on the newer Dylan stuff so this album is one of my favourites. Love the song "Little Sadie". Makes me wanna go on a road trip along route 66...
Why? - Indie-Hip-Hop. Weird style, very unique. Seen the guy live and he was pretty amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CB6IfU0umo - << Cool song...Stick with it to the end.
Glenn Porter - Did some of the soundtrack to a TV show in Canada called Departures where 2 guys travel round the world with a camera (I highly recommend it to everyone!). Hard to pin a style on him. Just a DJ who plays really amazing instrumental ambient/trip-hop tunes. Has done a few songs with Sage Francis... One of my favouriet songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeHK...C2DCCC35653190
Placebo - 36 Degress : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=904ZRNHCRDA << Still remember buying this on CD when it came out lol

Idlewild: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U57...D3BF7E5996D1BF

And I should probably mention this band and album, since without them me and my wife would've never met (it's a long story...), and we even have their lyrics engraved on our wedding rings >> Everclear - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPY8t8DpwwE

My top 5 changes frequently haha, but if I had to put names to positions right now, it would be:

1-Audioslave
2-Smashing Pumpkins
3-Earth Wind & Fire (This is the only one that will never leave my list haha)
4-Wu Tang Clan
5-Incubus
