Default Green Stuffed Chaos Obliterator

Hey guys, I've been working on making some obliterators from a box of chaos terminators and green stuff. Ive got all five done but have only managed to paint one. Sadly I have no pictures of the model before painted. This is my first time working with green stuff but i think the first model has turned out fairly well over all. But im pretty sure i equipped this first one with a heavy flamer and another flamer aha. The other models that I have made look a lot better for the green stuff work. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Not the best image quality btw.

Nice work, perhaps a little late but maybe you could consider having some gun barrels or knives coming out the greenstuff to make it look more like he is a walking weapon. But either way still good, I did pretty much the same thing, obliterator models are pricey.

I like it. Nice work. I am doing battle with my metal oblits at the moment. I am going to take all the blades and fiddly barrels of and gs over the holes. Smooth them up a bit.

both of the metal Oblits i had were terrible to put together, i had to use a lot of greenstuff on the torso to get the 2 pieces to fit together.

Finecast Obliterators are one of the only kits I would ever consider paying more for the Finecast version. Cause lets face it, even if the model you get is a bad cast it's still an improvement on the metal model

haha very true! i tried filing mine, until i relized that it'd be better off taking an acetaline torrch to it to remove all the excess metal, said screw it and pulled out the green stuff. i almost called GW about it, then heard it doesn't do any good. oh well if anything it helped me work on my GS skills. had to do something similar with my buddie's nightbringer model, same thing, terrible cast, had to green stuff it back together for the same reasons.

i don't like the price of Finecast, but i will admit the detail and such on them is gorgeous! i would also spend more for the Finecast Raptors, because the metal ones are way too off balanced.
