Default Baby Dragons - Conversions

I'm currently planning out a dragon army I plan to make for WHFB. I'll be proxying dragon models according to Warriors of Chaos units for rules sake, and would appreciate ideas on how to make conversions for little dragons.

My currently planned idea is to convert Tyranid Gargoyles by making their heads more dragon-y and replacing their flesh borers with scything talons from Hormagaunts. So I'm asking for people to throw ideas at me on how to do this, what else to do, what not to do, if any sites sell appropriately sized dragon heads and even if I could take a completely new (and easier/higher quality approach ) ect.. Any help would be appreciated.

WoC bodies with Lizardmen heads might be the go.

I want to do dragons pure, not dragon-men clad in armour. Lizardmen Heads sound like a good idea, though. Thanks for the suggestion.
