Default Count_the_Seven's Empire Army WIP

Hiya,

This is my attempt to re-invigorate my ancient WFB Empire army.

First up is Deathclaw and Karl Franz - stripped n repainted Deathclaw with the Emperor to follow... I'm quite chuffed with this as it's better than it was when first painted new about 17 years ago!

C&C welcome!

Decent looking model actually, im impressed :D my problem is that the whole model in general looks a really flat, have you thought about using washes to add depth to your model? a good start either way, will be watching this

Ooh, I know what you mean...;-) I thought the scheme looked similar to ornaments by Granny used to have. But as an animal mini I thought it was a more natural look.

It has been washed already, but has a flat look to it as you say. First time for me using foundation paints on a black undercoat. IMO that has worked here, as its a beast - other than the lion part being a little darker than I'd like - but with Karl Frank in his armour I think it will pick up a bit.

Right, Karl Franz is back on Deathclaw, minus his standard (to follow).

Been busy with family/work/Scottish Parliament election so things have slowed right down. Might be nothing for a month now as the campaign is into the last three weeks...

C&C welcome. I'm broadly happy, though areas of concern for me are the hammer, scabard and the feathers - I simply don't know how to make the best of the feathers, so the job here is remarkably similar to the original job all those years ago!

Anyway, here is Karl Franz:
