Default Waaagh!

Hey guys.

Been a while! with Christmas out the way and got another camera i wanted to show some of my recently painted orks off.

The lighting was a bit dull but with flash was to bright so something i need to play about with more.

Gazgullthrakka and some storm boyz first and some more bits soon, i did post Killa kans and some of my Blood Angels in the link below still.

Gazgulls Base was made from some modelling putty and broken up plaster, i found useing green stuff and super glue to hold the Warboss together is so strong once dried that he didnt need pinning.

Gazgullthrakka was the most fun painting ive had ever i think, amazing model with so much detail.

Hope you like them.

Very nice looking work there.

One suggestion, regarding pics: place the models in front of a white piece of paper in order to avoid distractions from the stuff surrounding the models. This will also help with the lighting which will make the models detail easier to see.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Great job on those Orks! Would love to see abunch of them all painted up together!

If I may add, try drilling out the barrels on the weapons. It will give a little more depth to the weapon.

Keep it up mate!

Despite the blurriness of the pics, those orks look good. As Wraithlord said, try using a white paper for foreground/background. Gray also works well. Allows the camera to focus on the minis and not surrounding clutter. Also experiment with range. My camera has a sweet spot that shows perfect detail, but an inch too far or too close and it ruins the pic.

Otherwise, keep up the good work!
