Default Getting Started with 40k Colours

Right,

Ive a lot of Valejo Model colour paints but there for ww2 and nam. So browns, greens etc. Im wanitng to start painting my Black Reach set sooner rather than later.

Id like to stick with Valejo. So can anyone recomend a nice starter set of basic colours from there range that would be good for painting Orcs and Ultramarines?

Preferable Model Colour rather than Game Colour as i can then cross of the ones i allready have.

Now washes, ive heard nothing but good things about the Citadel Washes, so i will be picking those up, does anyone know when GW will be releasing them as a pack again?

Many thanks as allways
Brian.
