In response to the questions--

There are bits that cover the turret canopy the same as the cockpit. However, a (typically trustworthy) kid managed to drop the turret while I was gluing the rest of the model together, and we couldn't find one of the two bits. They're actually separate bits on the sprues, and not molded to the cockpit assembly, which is strange and kind of annoying.

The Stormraven is a little bigger than a Valkyrie, but not in any meaningful way-- it's the difference between a Predator and a Rhino in size, really.

The Stormraven uses Rhino doors.

Thanks for all the replies so far, folks! I'm glad you all like it.

Excellent. I was wondering what doors it used!

Very nice paint job. You've also given me the first proper side on view of the model, and it really reinforces my opinion that it's a flying brick. Is there any chance of a photo of the rear where the dread is supposed hang?

I really like the white and weathering effects. I can't wait to get one to paint for my Blood Angels army. The model is actually starting to grow on me day by day.

Nice job Horus. Im not a massive fan of black lining personally, but its still a solid job. Some good weathering as well.

The model is growing on me, althoughI would still like to see one up close and personal to make my final judgment. I am trying to work out how I can paint this in my quarter colour scheme.

Your toast has been burnt and no amount of scraping will get rid of the black bits.

I have to say it looks better this way, but the canopies aren't convincing and could use some tint... looks soo much better than it does in red.
