the best thing I think you could do to get lots of bit is ebay it, just seach bits box, bitz box, bits bag or bitz bag anything along those lines really,

people are always selling their boxes of bits and bits&kits sometimes has a POT O'BITS for 8,

Both SW boxes have a huge amount of spares, and for a smaller kit, the chaos termie lord has loads of spare bits great for any marine army. I bought two of them to have all the weapons for my WG. Possibly the best box GW have for the size of it.

For the squad size id have to say DA veterans squad. Especially considering that it has parts for converting terminators, adding onto vehicles, a range of special weapons & combat weapons and enough bitz to make a fairly decent looking DA captain.

From one box I managed to convert my assualt marines, a dreadnought, a squad of 5 terminators and make the veteran squad look pretty tidy. Still got some bitz left over. I say some bitz, I've got an Ass load.

Everyone has a purpose, just so happens mine is more of an example to others of what NOT to do.

I know it's time to go to bed when the last post in every thread has been written by me.
