Default 18th Century Imperial Guard

I've been thinking of making an Imperial Guard regiment based of the Caroleans of 18th Century Sweden. However, since I want this army to be legal at tournaments and such, I can't just take the Wargames Factory Malburians (for example) and give them Cadian lasguns. I don't want to use Mordians either since this they don't really look like the Caroleans either. Does anyone have any recommendations for which miniatures I should base them on? I saw some cool Carolean conversions for Warhammer Fantasy, but the author sadly neglected to post a tutorial for how to convert them. For the record, here's a picture of a Carolean:

What is the strongest weapon of mankind? The god-machines of the Adeptus Mechanicus? No! The Astartes Legions? No! The tank? The lasgun? The fist? Not at all! Courage and courage alone stands above them all!

If your looking for just GW issue your job is a lot harder to do.

1). Empire Militia would have some parts, but your better off getting the individual bits from sprues from a bits supplier if thats the case.

2). Same as above for Bretonia and some knightly Empire order chest parts and outrider chest parts and arms.

The issue you will have is they don't look particularly same era only certain parts will so its likely you will have to repeat several of the same type for units.
