haven't needed to paint much rotting flesh in my time but done it once.
but i found using a dark brown as the base followed by a wet brushing of an orange (of your choice) followed by a dry brush of yellow and then a dry brush of skull white and rotting flesh(or bleached bone) 50/50 mix turns out half decent. but i guess it depends on how you want your rotting flesh to look be it greenish or red or brown.

edit: best way i have found out is to just experiment on some model.

the closest I came to painting Flesh is for bones, because I dont play any undead races. and the only evil race I play is Skaven.

Warhammer:Skaven 9000 points, Lizardmen 1250 points
Warmachine:Dwarves 261 points, Trolls 125 points Gatormen 174 points
Malifaux: Gremlins 100 Soul Stones
Infinity: Morats 1400 points, Shasvastii 600 points
