Default The heavys - Redeemer and Vindicator

After a bit of a rush I have managed to paint 2 big models just in time for the January GT at WHW.

I only got the vindicator at the end of November and the Redeemer just after Christmas, so these have been a rush for me. And unlike other vehicals I have painted recently these were basecoated by hand and not with my airbrush.

Anyway, the final 2 pieces for my 1500 point Jade Dragon Marines

First up is some solid close ranged support, Draco Spiritus

And my favorite vehical in the codex, Ignis Mortis, my Landraider Redeemer

they both look fantastic. How do you get the lines so straight, do you tape off the edges or just have a very steady hand?

I like them, the detail is good and I also like how u wrote the name on the vindicator.
The only thing I would complain of is the fact that they look too new like they came straight out of the forge world.
About the colour scheme I won' t say nothing cuz everyone has It' s own tastes

edit: aw shit sry no rep 4 u I have to "spread" a little of It before I rep u again

In the end there is only Chaos...

I love your colour scheme, and I love how you've painted the models. Well painted and would love to see them in the flesh...! Again?

Nice work. A bit "clean" for my tastes, some dirt and damage would add a bit more character to them. But very well executed. +rep.

Thanks for all the comments.

Yes I know they look really clean and spotless, but I have not had a chance to do any weathering. As I only have a few days to go till the tournament I dont want to start messing about till I can sit down and really do a good job.

I will see about posting up a full army pic when I do the GT report next week.

EDIT: Forgot to say that for the lines I will generally use tape as a guide, but as the areas are very detailed I need to use freehand.
