Not, wrong no, just not the way I do it! lol

For some reason when I read it, painting on the sprue wasn't what I imagined, but glueing it together, then painting it in your hand or something. Makes no sense, I know...

Theres no right or wrong way on the whole "paint before basing" thing. My bases are quite simple, so glueing them on and painting them in one go works fine for me.

Hey everyone, I'm currently set to begin painting my daemon models and I have a few ideas that I'd like some help with.

Basing Styles for each Chaos Deity:

Bloodletters / Khorne = Leave the bases without flock, and simply paint lava lines onto the black.

Daemonettes / Slaanesh = Cover the base in goblin green and grass flock, then paint purple lines through the grass, like cracks of speading Slaanesh corruption.

Plaguebearers / Nurgle = Dark Green base, with patches of grass flock, highlighted with lighter shades of green.

Pink Horrors / Tzeentch = No flock, simply paint the base a mixture of all different bright colours in a manner similar to a brightly painted collage.

Basically, I'm just looking for feedback on what you all think of these ideas. I'm pretty set with the Bloodletters and Daemonettes, but if anyone has any alternate ideas for the Plaguebearers and Pink Horrors, that would be really appreciated.

Basically, I'm thinking that, more unique base styles will help these models stand out, and don't worry to much about uniformity. This is a multi-God Chaos Daemon army, so it can look different style wise.

Thanks.
