Default Painted Abaddon Conversion

I recently got a commission to paint up Dave Taylor's conversion of Abaddon the Despoiler. It is nice to see Abaddon getting an update like this, 'cause that mini was from way back.

Anyway, here he is:

Wow, such a simple conversion. I love it. Brilliant paint job as always.

tremendous paint job, sir, on my favourite type of conversion [simple, understated, and well executed] + rep

current wip -
dark angels seventh company
skaven horde
the warriors of ulthuan

foible - foi·ble / ˈfoibəl
noun: a minor weakness or eccentricity in someone's character:
"they have to tolerate each other's little foibles".

Oh that is cool for sure and a nice paint job to boot. Wouldn't mind seeing more views of the model to be honest though Gareth.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

This is a great looking model, the conversion is a definite step up from the original model. I love seeing your work, keep posting it!

I only got one other angle on him before shipping him out to his owner. Unfortunately, it isn't very different from the first angle:

Also, I've received quite a few compliments on this guy, so I decided to throw him up on Coolmini and see what everyone thinks there.

Here's a link, if you're interested.
