Default Slightly Converted AoBR Dread to Furioso

With the new BA Codex, I decided to go back to my SM roots and pick back up with the Angels. First up...converting a Dread into a Furioso Death Company Dread. Still a WIP. Conversion is done, but still need to finish painting.

Conversion was simple. Cut the MM barrel off at the base(behind the MM nozzles and the VERY short barrel), take the Smoke Launcher, put some holes in the barrels, cut the blades off some old Dark Eldar Splinter Rifles I had, and insert into the holes. Took an old Smoke Launcher and trimmed it to fit into the underside slot of the new one, notched it, and put the handle blades from the splinter rifles in the notches. I used the old Rhino roll bar and cut it into pieces to use as the hydraulics to attach it to the arm. The normal DCCW has tips of the old Rhino brush guard cut and attached.

that is a really cool conversion. the actual hand itself is ingenious.... good work!

If you shit in one hand and wish in the other we all know which one will fill up faster.

And as I walk in the valley of the shadow of death I will have no fear For I am the scariest mother f*cker in that goddamned valley!

Damn nature, You Scary!!!

Thanks. I was trying to figure out a way to make a Blood Talon with actual Talons..it was either that way that I did it, or try to model a DCCW-esque base and use the blades from the Dozer blade as the claws. I opted for the easier of the two and I'm pretty happy with the end result.
