Default Homemade Shots of GD Baltimore 09

Photos taken by Phil Radcliffe

Here's some shots my bro took at the GD in April. It was a great time, and I recommend you go to the next one! For $20, it's hard to turn down.

Oh, and I got to meet the Perry Twins and yuk it up over some old photos and stuf from 1st Ed WH40K Rogue Trader. I even got them to sign their 40K likenesses! That's the "I AM" and "SO AM I" for those who have the book.

Yup, that's me in the Conversion Contest. I lost, but it was fun just sitting down with pile of bitz and going crazy. What was my entry? You'll have to wait until I paint it for you. It's sitting on the shelf for now.

And last but not least, the Red Orktober, courtesy of Matt Sabol of Custom Detailed Terrain and Scenery. Drool and enjoy! He said he built it in seven weeks. I told him I would have believed seven months.

Certainly! The best (and craziest part) was talking to GD contestants about their entries. You would have to just see it for yourself the work that went into the models that didn't make the cut. I can say the WD articles don't do the day any justice, and I'm amazed that the GW staff keeps up withall of the events as they do. GD left my head spinning. I definitely have to go back, and my stepdaughter's going, no doubt about it!

Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
You better watch out
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Jordan, and I have seen
Things are not what they seem.

That's an almighty bump and a half!

Welcome back! Don't suppose you have your conversion contest picture to show?

Sorry, guys, after 3 years guess its time to light a fire under my ass and get those brushes out! I have been busy putting alot of sketchup work out. I think I still know where that model is...
