Default WIP AoBR Dread into Nurgle Chaos Dread

So after getting the AoBR box I've been pondering on what to do with the marine figures. Mainly as LViX has now elected to drop her Marine army with one eye on the approaching Dark Eldar, so no longer wanted them.

After some thought I decided to go on the same path as my Vindicator and some Marines I converted last year and use greenstuff to Nurglefy it.

Heres where I am so far, still a lot of work to do. I think he's going to be hooded, and there will be greenstuff work between the claws on the CC arm at the very least.

and heres one using blutack just to show the potential of when he's together.

Will post more pics as I update this fella.

Great work so far, you're pretty talented with Green Stuff . I'm not sure a hood would look all that great to be honest, the helm of the Dreadnought wouldn't suit the addition in my opinion. Look forward to more.

No hood, just a single off center horn would look fantastic though IMHO.
But it looks awesome so far!!

Thanks for looking in.

I'll admit the hood is a question mark for me, although before I write it off compleatly I'm going to do a test sculpt without actually fully attaching it and see what folks think.

Of course I may well look at it myself and say no chance, but I'll share a pic one way or the other. The horn idea is quite possible as it worked nicely on my Daemonic possessed Vindicator.

Anyway, will try and get a look at this hood asap.

Hold on a sec...this is from the AoBR dread??!! The green stuff work is awesome, the only criticism I have to give is probably that the head is a bit clean to be "nurgle". I would suggest melting it a bit with plastic glue. Don't put too much, maybe paint the glue on with an old brush. But great job, keep up the good work!

Okay took a little longer than first planned, but I think he's finally finished.

In the end I did try the hood and liked it, wanted a sorta Zartan thing going on for some odd reason so I'm happy. As to the face I haven't melted it or anything as I intend to use paint to make it look Nurgle.

Anyways here he is.

Any thoughts are obviously welcome.
