Default Imperial Guard (now with picture 17 Dec.)

Got a chimera and some cadian shock troops in...bout freakin time. I got tired of inhaling glue fumes and starring at the paint waiting for something to do.

More to follow when I get muh camera

I'm currently helping a friend assemble and paint his IG army but he is indecisive about camo scheme. What camo/colour scheme are you going with?

yeah what scheame for the cadians??

m38 standard pattern (dessert yellow & catachan green)

stalking tigers?

firedrakes?

i personaly was originaly going with standard pattern m38 but then went city camo and i like that much better black armour, dark grey fatigues with lighter grey stipling, gold insignia.

and the question again what scheme are YOU doing???

Decided to go with a grayish kommando khaki style uniform, similar to the cadian style uniform with a dark desert yellow flak armor. I figured what with the abundance of sand around here I could come up with some nifty bases.

I have a test mini painted up, havent had a chance to upload a picture yet though. I plan to within the next few days as that is when I will have access to such resources

Was hanging out with some Iraqi soldiers today, they wear the old "cookies and cream" style uniforms (djin will know what I'm talkin about). I have the colors for it, think I may go that way.

Now if I could just get that stuff from 40k Empire, British airmail= teh suck

Ordered from Forgeworld once...was shipped via british airmail....arrived almost 2 months later....a box from the US arrives in 5 - 6 days now...

UK airmail thy name be suck

Yeah the desert yellow armor is nice, I like the way it came out. The clothing blends with it nicely but I think a "cookies and cream" style camo would look awesome
