Default Dark Vengeance Hellbrute

painted this up during the course of a morning (break in afternoon) and an evening. only about 8 hours work in total so its only tabletop standard I suppose.

Good choice of colours; murky but with enough contrast to not look like just a blob. The rusty talons are most engaging.

Not sure about the grass on the base; it looks a touch to vibrant for a Nurgle model.

Very nice touch on the eyes on the carapace.

being a dark model it was important to have a light coloured base to avoid the model simply vanishing. and this is sort of my standard basing so everything ties together.

though I never stated it was Nurgle. so I guess its a good sign that it is generic nurgle and people recognize it as such haha

Looks fab, your "table top" standard is superior to anything I could put out

This looks great man, I love it! I'm hopefully going to put my Thousand Sons Helbrute, converted from the Dark Vengeance kit (before the release of the newer kit). Even though I tried really hard to do a decent job of painting it to keep up with the conversion, your paint job is making me feel a bit shameful! I can never quite get it right, I'm never doing enough steps with my layers and my drybrushing makes things look way to grainy. Practice I guess... this is inspiring, nice work.
