Default What paints do you use?

I am curious as to what paints everyone uses (the main type if you use several types). I know I have 6 different types of paints in my collection but I tend to use Vallejo Model Colours and Game Colours. Just wanting to see what everyone likes to use.

Well I don't have access to any of those paints, except for the Games Workshop.

Despite the cost, GW paints are my vote .

I usually use games workshop paint, but I usually use random different primers, but rarely games workshop's

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poke me in the ribs and cackle, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started to do the same thing to them at funerals.

The cheap amateur bastard that I am, I proudly use Delta Ceramacoat paints.. Nice and cheap and plentiful, and for me they get the job done!

I tend to use GW paints.

However, I uncovered a bundle of old Citadel figures and some "Minature Paints" acrylic paint. I has one pot of that out (couldn't remember where it came from) and I've used it as the bast coat for my Orkz as it's Bottle green, and is quite dark.

Well, ok I admit, I don't use the GW primer. I can get a good, large one at a hardware store for like a quarter (more then that) of the cost of one!

And the same goes with the glue too...

I use an autoprimer for the undercoat available from my autoparts supplier two blocks away.
I use Tamiya acrylics, mostly. They're cheaper than the GW paints, give me better coverage, and are more readily available (I don't have to go to a GW, but several model shops in my area stock them). GW still don't do the right shade of olive green that I want on my IG.

I do use a few GW paints (some of the washes and some of the foundation paints.), though.
Glues: Anything but GW for superglue. Revell Contacta Pro for plastics (less than $4 for a 25g bottle, puts the glue where I want it, and lasts forever.)

Hey! Where'd ... Everybody ... go?

I use all GW except for a few Tamiya colours, which I will replace with GW colour when I run out.

Project logs:
The Black Wolves (SM) - List Written
Ultramarines Chapter (yes, I said chapter) - Test model painted
7th Annihilators (SM) - Nearly finished (no log)
