This project will be on and off as my interest comes and goes, so I'll put it here instead of Project Logs.

Sixteen Guardians. Would have waited til I had the twenty but I am impatient.

The bodies were painted with Mephiston Red, then the helmets picked out with Pallid Wych Flesh. The whole thing was then given a shade with Seraphim Sepia. Once the weapon is done, I'll brush the helmets back up gradually to a more solid white while trying to leave the shade around the bumps so they still have a touch of definition. If that doesn't work, I'll figure something else out.

I've found that Seraphim Sepia is a bit too bright for shading red, and have had more success with Agrax Earthshade. Having a darker shade gives a lot more definition to the armour

Will you be doing edge highlights? For Eldar models, the edge highlighting really pays off for the armour definition, but takes a long time as the models have a lot of armour plates and edges.

Your work so far looks great! Can't wait to see the whole army fully painted up!
