I really like Tau models, and am sorely tempted to get some, even though I have a pile of unpainted marines taxing my mental health! But I have vouchers for my local store so technically it would cost me nothing!

As for your mini Serp, nice muted scheme traditional Tau, my only quibble would be the top parts of the jet pack, where the sprue was clipped off looks a bit rough

Yes I didn't realize at the time how visible this would be when it was done. I think I was banking on the weapons to draw focus, but they're too similar to the rest of the suit to really pull focus that much. XP
