Default Age of Sigmar Free mini

So I actually painted this not long after it came out but I'm just lazy and never got round to actually posting the photos of it. Given that it normally takes me months to finish anything and I did this start to finish in 2 days I think highlights how fun it was to paint.

I really do hope that the Sigmar points system actual makes it a playable system, as having an army of any of the models in the starter set would be really nice, because you have to admit they are incredible.

Anyway this was painted largely using the vallejo liquid metal range:
Base: Vallejo Red Gold
Wash: Seraphim Sepia
Layer: Vallejo Old Gold
Highlight: Silver

The rest was done using the GW painting guides on youtube.

Me: To be honest im amazed there isn't a chaos god of not revising or at least chaos god of procrastination

MidnightSun: There will be, when enough people do it. Y'know when the Eldar were all engaging in their hedonism and Slaanesh ripped open the Eye of Terror with his creation? Slaanesh will have NOTHING on the God of Procrastination, and his vile minions will carve the galaxy asunder in a thousand year reign of blood.... Tomorrow

That looks mad as

Ive been a real fence sitter on what army I would like to do next in AoS, I really like the look of the Stormcast. but I dunno, I feel like they are just Aos Space Marines

Good paint job. Everything you did is absolutely awesome.

But since these things came out, people have been clamoring about how amazing the models are and to me... they just look terribly uninspired and boring.

I certainly agree that as individual models they can be a bit plain, but seeing them as an entire army (such as on display in the WHW exhibition centre) they look incredible
