Default Khorne Daemonkin army by Awaken Realms

Hello,

Recently we had the opportunity to do a really nice Deamonkin of Khorne. Take a look at the deamons and mortals alike tearing into realspace to spill the blood and take skulls in the name of their patron sitting on the Throne of Skulls!
Also, take a look at more photos of the models in our gallery

How is the army appearing to you?

Is the bloodhunter meant to be sideways on its juggernaut?

It seems a little inconsistent; the Bloodthirster is absolutely stunning, and the chariots, Bloodcrushers and Soul Grinders all look similarly excellent, but Skulltaker looks quite rough in places (particularly the Khorne symbol on the lining of the coat), and the Bloodletters seem curiously flat. I think that the former might benefit from a few more, thinner steps when blending/highlighting, and the latter might look better in a richer red colour scheme (the highlighting towards grey/white is well-executed, but a bit stark; perhaps a red wash or glaze to get a bit more richness in the colour would help).

The Bloodthirster is absolutely gorgeous though, stellar work!

Certainly some nice work here particularly like th bloodcrushers and the bloodthirster amazing work as always. But could agree with midnightsun skulltaker does lot a little interesting maybe flat... not sure if thats ment to match the bloodletters they are a little simpler looking. Well done still though

With Skulltaker it's the photo most likely - he's bend in a way that made photographing him really hard.

Bloodletters are a bit "monotonous" models themselves, it's hard to make them "stand out" unfortunately

Nevertheless, thanks for commentaries!

I think they all look very nice, I would certainly be proud to run an army that was that well painted at any of my games.
